Good to hear from, the old MV Band friends are still thinking about the on of the best bands in VA.      This is jay Walker (percussion/marching) asst. Director 1976-1993.  I am still teaching part-time and help several bands in Fairfax County.  If anyone remembers drop a line. There have been several attempts to pull the old bands back together.  I still have contact with Mr. Cassangrade, Mr. Schoonover.  Mr. Dash passed.  JW

What a great idea Cheryl.... I hope you all are able to connect with lots of fellow band members. It would be great if we could find more folks before the next reunion. Don't forget to check out our class website at MVHS78.com to update your info. Also, Mt. Vernon HS is having a 70 year birthday bash next year at Homecoming.
